Below are resources and supports available for Early Years. The books can be download from the links below or those that are available in hard copy, can be ordered.
SEAI has developed a lesson plan for pre-school in line with the Aistear curriculum. These are designed to be used in conjunction with Guzzler’s Big Book on Energy. The lessons can be done in one day or spread over a few days or weeks. There are additional suggestions of other activities to do to keep the energy theme running through the pre-school year. Guzzler's Big Book on Energy
Guzzler is a friendly monster who lives in Aoife's wardrobe. This book is full of bright and colourful illustrations to help children see some of the activities and lessons come to life. To get your free copy, contact email@example.com or phone (01) 808 2049. This is also available in Irish.
Guzzler Investigates Energy
Aimed at teachers, this book is full of practical activities and experiments on energy. It accompanies Guzzler's Big Book and is available, free of charge, for pre-school facilities. Email firstname.lastname@example.org phone (01) 808 2049 or to download each activity go to resources and choose junior and activity/experiment from the drop down tabs. Also available in Irish (on-line only).

Saving Energy in a Galway Montessori School
