|The Bright Sparks campaign aimed to encourage people to turn off electrical devices and not leave appliances on standby. They did this by connecting with people via social media, providing simple energy saving tips and showing them how much money can be saved by turning things off. They held an awareness day and sold wristbands and bookmarks with additional information on their project and energy saving tips.|
"The One Good idea project was extremely beneficial for all those involved. The students were forced way out of their comfort zone and they really challenged themselves. They never would have believed that they could have achieved just high standards and professionalism if they hadn't being involved in it. Those students who were involved have a massive head start on their contemporaries in terms of planning, communication, presenting and analysis skills that they will stand out from the crowd in terms of employment and career prospects"
