About the Awards

Innovation, new product development and cutting-edge technology is the lifeblood of any industry, but particularly so in the energy sector. The urgency to ensure a more sustainable business and social community is now imperative.

The SEAI Energy Show ‘Product of the Show Awards’ reward and champion these developments, particularly those incorporating smart energy solutions. Apart from the prestige of winning such a highly-regarded award, there are very tangible commercial benefits for companies that enter this competition

We welcome and encourage all Exhibitors attending the Show this year to register for the Product of the Show Awards. This is a great opportunity for you to introduce your latest product innovations and get rewarded for it!!

Entries are subject to rigorous assessment by a panel of highly-qualified and experienced professionals. Finalist entries will be featured at the dedicated Product of the Show Awards Pavilion at the Energy Show and attendees will have the opportunity to check out your product on display. Winners will also deliver a series of 5-minute elevator pitches over the two days.

Why should you apply?

  • Winning a prestigious ‘Product of the Show Award’ endorses your product/service and gives it significant market status.
  • Samples of all shortlisted finalists’ entries will be featured on the dedicated Product of the Show Awards Pavilion which is prominently located at the SEAI Energy Show.
  • In addition, a continuous video loop featuring all shortlisted finalists will run for the duration of the Show at the Product of the Show Awards Pavilion.

How to apply

Enter through our brand new official online form. You must be registered as an exhibitor to apply.

The deadline for entry submissions is Monday, 10th March 2025.

Number of submissions

  • Exhibitors can enter up to three products.
  • The same product can be entered in a max of 2 categories.
  • Separate forms must be used for each product entered.

Assessment process

  • Submissions will be assessed independently, and collectively, by the judging panel against specific criteria. A shortlist of finalists will be selected in each category.
  • On the opening day of the SEAI Energy Show the judges will be visits the stands of those shortlisted to view the products.
  • The winners will be announced on the second day of the SEAI Energy Show.

For companies offering an exceptional renewable energy technology product or system that offers a low-carbon alternative to traditional electricity, heat or transport sources.

For companies offering energy services, including energy utilities and sustainable energy consultants. Entrants should demonstrate advances being made to improve the efficiency and performance of their energy services offering.

For companies that provide innovative, energy-efficient heat pump solutions that deliver sustainable heating and cooling, reducing environmental impact while enhancing energy performance in various settings.

For companies that offer cutting-edge solar technologies that provide efficient, sustainable energy solutions, minimising environmental impact and improving energy performance across residential, commercial, or industrial applications.

For companies that have innovative initiatives/products that prioritise environmental responsibility, resource efficiency, and long-term sustainability, driving positive ecological impact and advancing a more
sustainable future across industries.

Terms and conditions

  • Products must demonstrate significant improvements in energy performance and be supported by certified documentation/evidence.
  • Only applications sent through the official application form will be accepted.
  • Approval for publicity is implied as part of taking part in the SEAI Energy Show ‘Product of the Show Awards’.
  • The judges’ decision will be final in all matters relating to this competition.
