Register home heating products
The Home Heating Appliance Register of Performance (HARP) database is a product efficiency database for home heating appliances in Ireland.
About HARP
The HARP database provides domestic BER assessors with information on the efficiency of heating appliances available in Ireland for use in DEAP. Product submissions to HARP include product test data, product identification documentation and HARP submission forms. The database has been in operation since 2006.

Building Regulations 2011 Boiler Efficiency Requirement
According to the revised Building Regulations Part L (S.I. No. 259 of 2011), after 1st December 2011:
- In new homes, gas-fired and oil boilers must meet a minimum seasonal efficiency of 90%.
- In existing homes where gas-fired and oil boilers are being replaced new boilers must, where possible, meet a minimum seasonal efficiency of 90%.
Submitting products to HARP
Heating appliance manufacturers who want to have their products included in the HARP database should apply using the submission pack. If you are an agent or vendor, please work with your manufacturer to complete the application. All data that is submitted and not published is treated as confidential.
