Final energy consumption describes the energy that is directly consumed by an end-user. SEAI analyses final energy consumption in the agriculture and fisheries sectors by energy sub-product.

Final Energy Consumption in Agriculture

Yearly Change

The data view below shows the annual final energy consumption in the agriculture sector (top), along with the absolute and percentage differences of agriculture final energy consumption, with respect to the previous year for up to 20 years, where data is available (bottom).

Breakdown by Energy Sub-Product

The data view below shows the annual final energy consumption in the agriculture sector (top), along with the energy sub-product breakdown displayed as a percentage of the agriculture final consumption in a given year (bottom).

Final Energy Consumption in Fisheries

Yearly Change

The data view below shows the annual final energy consumption in the fisheries sector (top), along with the absolute and percentage differences of fisheries final energy consumption, with respect to the previous year for up to 20 years, where data is available (bottom). The fisheries final energy consumption comes entirely from gas oil.
