Apply for a home energy grant through a registered energy partner.

Who is an energy partner

An energy partner can manage your individual energy upgrade for you from start to finish.

Why choose an energy partner?

Simplify your upgrade: The energy partner will make an application on your behalf, and appoint a contractor and BER assessor to complete works. They will deduct the grant amount off the cost of works so that you don't have to pay the full amount up front.

Financing options: They can also help you apply for low-cost government loans for your home energy upgrades via the Home Energy Upgrade Loan Scheme .

  • Flexible repayment terms range from 1 to 10 years, allowing applicants to borrow between €5,000 and €75,000 per property, with a maximum of 3 properties.
  • At least 75% of the loan must be spent on energy efficiency and renewable energy works, with up to 25% allowed for non-grant aided works.
  • No security or personal guarantee is required, and interest rates are lower than typical market rates.
  • Applicants must show a 20% improvement in energy performance, and the property must be in the Republic of Ireland.
  • Apply through one of our Energy Partners today.
