One Stop Shop services for Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs)
As an Approved Housing Body (AHB), you can access grants for home energy upgrades to social housing with the One Stop Shop grant scheme.
Why use a One Stop Shop
One Stop Shop providers offer all the services to completely upgrade a home or set of homes. These registered private operators will manage the entire process for you, from the initial assessment through to the final BER rating.
Grant amounts available for AHBs
As an AHB, you can access a wider range of grants using a One Stop Shop provider than if you were to manage the project yourself. For certain measures, AHB properties also receive higher grants than private homes.
All registered AHBs must be have a valid Approved Housing Bodies registration (AHBRA) to take advantage of the One Stop Shop AHB grant amounts.

How to apply for a One Stop Shop grant
Applying for a One Stop Shop grant as an AHB is the same process as if you were applying as a homeowner.
You will need to provide a letter of confirmation that the homes to be upgraded are owned by the AHB and your One Stop Shop provider will do the rest.

If the One Stop Shop service isn't right for you, AHBs can also apply for grants through the Community Grants scheme. A registered Project Co-ordinator manages the Community Grants project and application process, making homes in a community more energy-efficient.
