Renewable electricity county dashboard

View our renewable electricity production by county dashboard, a thematic map providing a comparative visualisation of renewable electricity production in every county in Ireland.

Regular updates to the data will be made on a monthly basis. This will include data from new renewable power plants as they commence operation.
At present, the metered generation per county only considers electricity generation facilities connected to the national grid at DSO (Distribution System) and TSO (Transmission System) voltage levels. It is intended that small, mini and micro scale generation sources shall be integrated into the dashboard once this data can be obtained at county level.
Electricity generation from offshore wind has not yet been integrated into the total generation of neighbouring county/counties. This will be included in future iterations.
This Beta version is an initial version of the dashboard which shall serve as the means to seek feedback on the format and layout of the dashboard and indeed its structure and functionality. SEAI will provide a means to seek feedback in due course.
As stated on the About page, the above figures contain estimates of the output of some electricity generation facilities. Therefore these figures should not be utilised for official reporting purposes.
